The Roztyly Plaza office building, which is located in the immediate victinity of a metro station and a forest has been developed from the beginning with these surroundings in mind. The straight shapes offer a higher percentage of office space with a high degree of usability, while the rounded shapes in the corner parts of the building can express a certain solitariness and exclusivity of the building and complement the overall geometry. The medium-sized (six storeys plus one receding storey) volume of the building is thus connected to the nearby natural framework and at the same time it has an urban form with a street level on which the necessary shops, services and restaurants are located. The design of the street level around the building increases the comfort and safety even when using public transport; there are also other sitting areas or the possibility of seeking shelter from heavy rain, a large water feature and greenery. The compactness of the building, which is, among other things, beneficial for the energy performance of the building, is given by the central courtyard around which office operations are organized.
